Maybe this has been brought up before, but it's worth a try just in case, and honestly I don't feel like searching to see if it has been, but when a user logs in invisible is there any way to keep that user from getting quick notes? I was thinking site wide announcements and login reports, but not the quicknotes? What does everyone think?

Wait,if you log in invissibly you cannot turn off the quick notes through your profile setting?

I don't know if you can turn them off or not. I didn't try earlier when I was trying to start my topics. LOL, but I figured if your invisible why would you want them? After all, you can't reply to them so...I just figured if your invisible they should automatically be turned off until you go visible again. I don't often use the feature, but...

You can indeed turn off the public QN's while invisible using the /togqn command, but you have a good idea WC. why not make them automaticly toggle along with the invisibility status?

but if you did that, one cool feature of being invisible is gone, you can't see when people are talking about you.

Eunice, as has been said here, you can both switch them off in your profile, or toggle them as you would when not invisible, so it is easy enough. Yes you can watch others talk about you, though why you really care I don't know. I sometimes read them if invisible, but just so that I know if it's worth becoming visible.

I just thought to save some extra time of that, but *shrug* just a suggestion.

well, the / t o g q n (no spaces) command should stil work, but why would you never want qn's on just because you're invisible, I'd like to be able to send private qn's though, but I also think there should be a friends list. so you could only send things to them.

Haha, stargate. When i was younger I always wanted to be invisible in real life... perhaps now I should go premium to fulfill that life-long desire *grin*.

I really like the idea of a friends list; though it potentially could make the zone seem clickish? Also, when I started this discussion I wasn't truly aware of the "/ t o g q n" command, but now that I am I use it when necessary. *smile*

ya. Those commands have become more useful over the past few months. It used to be just /me a long time ago.
